Mother’s Day Guide: Local events taking place this weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – You don’t have to travel far this Mother’s Day to make mom feel special.

Saturday, May 11
Mother’s Day Social at The Nest BGKY. From 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. Find out more about prices and tickets here.
Mother’s Day Tea Party at the Foundry Christian Community Center. Families can make a new wreath, find out City of Bowling Green job information, learn about women’s health, enjoy kids spring and summer crafts, decorate cupcakes and get a free breakfast. Event starts at 10 a.m. More here.
A Mother’s Day Celebration at Paradise Point in Scottsville. Meet author of “Lakeside Retreat,” Marci Seither. Learn the power of sharing your story, and even get a book signed. Event starts at 9:30 a.m. More here.
Mother’s Day at Petal & Wine in Glasgow. Visit the greenhouse and get a gift for mom. The first 10 customers will get a free Mommy and Me set of planters. More here.
Full Bloom – A Mother’s Day Event at Rural Route Clothing Co. in Glasgow. The store will have a pop-up business, bouquets available for purchase, sweet treats, giveaways and more. More here.
Summer Nights Cruise In at the Russellville square. Enjoy food, music and classic cars. All proceeds go to JDRF, Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Alzheimer’s and autism awareness. More here.
Sunday, May 12 (Mother’s Day)
Mother’s Day at Bowling Green Ballpark. Moms get in free, plus you can join early for a flower giveaway and card making station all game long. First pitch is at 1:05 p.m. More here.
