3 arrested for drug trafficking, organized crime after search warrant executed at Clinton County gas station

ALBANY, Ky. – Three individuals were arrested after an investigation into drug trafficking and organized crime in Clinton County.

According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), authorities executed a search warrant at the Shell located at 1014 Tennessee Road in Albany on Friday.

During the investigation, officers located “large quantities of suspected narcotics and a substantial amount of U.S. currency.”

Sachinkumar Patel, Narendrakumar Patel and Kanubhai Patel were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana, under 8 ounces, and engaging in organized crime.

CCSO says the Albany Police Department, Kentucky State Police and ICE participated in the joint operation.

The investigation is ongoing.
