Social media group Predator Poachers confronts another Kentucky man

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A social media influencer group named the Predator Poachers, which was created to expose alleged child sex offenders, have caught yet another man in the Bluegrass state.

“We catch sex offenders all the time, and we have sex offenders that we are currently talking to on the book right now in many different states,” said Alex Rosen, leader of the Predator Poachers.

The Predator Poachers strike again, but this time with a man in Russellville.

If you remember, they caught Joshua Pettersen allegedly speaking to an underage decoy, where he was later arrested by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and charged with procuring or promoting a minor by electronic means.

Now, they’re back in the bluegrass state. This time they led authorities to William Carter, who was arrested Saturday evening and charged with procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.

The team posed as a 13-year-old girl and says it had proof that sexual advances were made by Carter. Rosen said prosecutors should hand down harsher charges to re-offenders and to protect citizens.

“They need to prioritize actually making the community safer. We’re very grateful that the next time he reoffended was not at the expense of an actual child,” Rosen said.

Rosen said that the team will remain committed to stopping reoffenders and aim to use their platform to protect families and children from those using social media as a grooming tool.

“God forbid, you know, any day he is out on the street is a danger to children, and thank God he was caught in our trap verses with an actual kid. We hope this time his full parole is reinstated,” he said.

Carter was arrested by the Russellville Police Department and transported to the Logan County Detention Center.
