Bowling Green man indicted on sexual abuse charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been indicted on charges related to sexual abuse of a juvenile.

According to court documents, 27-year-old Trey N. Thompson was indicted May 1, 2024 on first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy.

A uniform citation states the charges stem from a case involving a juvenile in June 2021. At the time of the accused crimes, Thompson was 23 years old.

According to deputies, Thompson was interviewed on March 27, 2024, when authorities say he told them he had inappropriate physical contact with the juvenile.

Thompson was arrested on April 1, 2024.

Thompson remains at the Warren County Detention Center.
