Pearls of Wisdom Luncheon and Learn
BOWLING GREEN, KY.- The Bowling Green Chamber partnered with LifeWorks to bring valuable insights and empowerment to local women leaders.
The event, called the Pearls of Wisdom Luncheon, provided a space for professional women to reflect on their personal and career journeys. Kendra Sewell, President of Pan-Oston, shared her experiences, inspiring others to own their unique paths to success.
Beyond career advice, the luncheon also addressed important health topics, including the often-overlooked issue of undiagnosed autism in women.
Dr. Christy Bryce from LifeWorks highlighted how autism can be misdiagnosed due to women’s ability to mask symptoms. She explained that women may struggle with sensory issues or communication but learn to mimic others, which hides their challenges.
This creates a need for more awareness and understanding within both the medical and professional communities. The event emphasized that no two journeys are the same, especially when it comes to health and careers.
Participants left encouraged to embrace their individuality and trust their own direction. The luncheon successfully blended empowerment, education, and community support for lasting impact.
