Man experiences medical event while driving, dies after crash in Ohio County
OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal crash Friday morning.
According to an OCSO social media post, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in the area of Greenbriar Road and the US Highway 231 intersection.
The vehicle crashed into a ditch.
The driver, an older male adult, was experiencing a medical event before the collision, according to the post.
OCSO says a passerby stopped to check on the man and performed CPR prior to first responders arriving at the scene.
The man was transported to Owensboro Health Hospital, where he later died.
The investigation is ongoing.
