Bullitt County man arrested on child sexual abuse charges in Ohio County

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – A Bullitt County man is accused of child sexual abuse.

According to a social media post, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation of 36-year-old Jared Cox, of Shepherdsville, in March of 2026 regarding child sexual abuse allegations.

OCSO arrested Cox on Monday on an indictment warrant.

Cox is charged with ten counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years of age.

The investigation is ongoing.
