Bowling Green man charged after allegedly allowing minor to drive during pursuit

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges, including unlawful transaction with a minor, after a reported vehicle pursuit in Glasgow.

According to a uniform citation, 21-year-old Kemar Wilson of Bowling Green was “involved in a pursuit” on Wednesday, where a juvenile driver was charged.

Authorities say Wilson was the owner of the vehicle and was “present in the vehicle during the pursuit.”

According to the Kentucky State Police, Wilson “admitted he bought alcohol and provided it to all three juveniles involved in the pursuit.”

Authorities say Wilson also admitted to being too intoxicated to drive and to allowing the juvenile to drive his vehicle during the pursuit.

Wilson is charged with third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, person 18 or older assisting a minor purchase alcohol, unlawful to drive or permit another to drive without a license and alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense.

He was transported to the Barren County Detention Center and has since been released.
