UPDATE: Body found in Hopkinsville identified as Bowling Green man

UPDATE (4:10 pm) – The Hopkinsville Police Department has identified a body found Tuesday as 34-year-old Clifford Barber, of Bowling Green.

HPD says no other information can be provided at this time.

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Hopkinsville Police Department is conducting a death investigation.

According to a release, officers responded to a report of a dead individual in Little River near West Side Park Tuesday at 6:16 am.

Upon arrival, officers located a body.

Authorities suspect foul play, according to the release.

HPD asks the public to avoid the area of the investigation.
