GLASGOW, Ky. – A Kentucky teen is now formally charged in connection with a Glasgow crash that occurred last month.

According to an indictment filed in October, 19-year-old Caden French of Burkesville drove a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 26.

French currently faces two counts each of first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, along with one count each of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, under 21 years of age (.02 or more), and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle prohibited.

According to a report by Glasgow News 1, the charges stem from a crash that occurred that same day on Grandview Avenue “between Commercial and Sorenson avenues, near the shopping center with Rural King.”

He is scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. CT, according to the indictment.

French previously was identified as one of five passengers in a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Asa Howard involved in a fatal crash in Glasgow in October 2025, according to Glasgow News 1.
