Man charged with murder after Bowling Green man found dead in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Hopkinsville police say a man has been charged in the death of a Bowling Green man.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department on Wednesday, 44-year-old Terrance Christian of Hopkinsville is charged with murder after the death of 34-year-old Clifford Barber of Bowling Green. On Tuesday, July 28 around 6:16 a.m., officers say they responded to a report of a dead individual in Little River near West Side Park.

Authorities say upon arrival, officers confirmed the report and immediately secured the scene.

During the investigation, authorities say the victim was found to have sustained gunshot wounds to his torso.
