GLASGOW, Ky. – Two people were transported to a local hospital and one person was flown for treatment following a two-vehicle crash in Glasgow on Tuesday.

According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, deputies responded to a collision on Tompkinsville Road.

Upon arrival, deputies say they learned a Chevrolet Cruze driven by Brooklyn Burton of Glasgow was trying to turn left into a driveway when the vehicle traveled into the path of a Dodge Durango driven by Rondal Van Rossum, also of Glasgow.

Deputies say Burton and a passenger, Kendrick Langston of Bull Gap, Tennessee, were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment. Langston was later airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee for further treatment, authorities say.

The driver of the second vehicle, Rondal Van Rossum, was also transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Temple Hill and East Barren Fire Departments, along with Barren-Metcalfe EMS.
