Local Veterans Day parade back in full force
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2021 Bowling Green Veterans Day Parade went on as planned on Saturday. The parade’s triumphant return featured spectators, who lined the streets to show appreciation for those who have and are serving the nation. Multiple veteran groups and a JROTC group, were among those who made the event possible.
WKU Football beats rival MTSU, defense comes up with 6 interceptions
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU brought the hammer down on rival MTSU. Western’s defense was swarming! They came away with six interceptions and held MTSU’s quarterback to a low completion percentage. The Tops won this one in a dominating fashion, 48-21.

Bowling Green Fire Department responds to structure fire at Bel Air apartments
BOWLING GREEN Ky.– The Bowling Green Fire Department responded Sunday around 12:59 A.M. to a structure fire at 2600 Chandler Drive (Bel Air Apartments) with 10 units and approximately 33 personnel.
