Arrests stem from investigation into alleged sexual services at Oak Grove spa

OAK GROVE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says it is investigating alleged sexual services at a spa in Oak Grove.
According to authorities, troopers received an online crime tip on April 11 alleging the Golden Phoenix Spa in Oak Grove was offering sexual services in exchange for money.
Troopers say detectives executed a search warrant at the business on Friday, June 19. During the search, authorities say they located items commonly associated with sexual activity in the establishment.
Authorities say two female employees were arrested and charged with prostitution and engaging in organized crime. According to uniform citations, the two employees were identified as 43-year-old Can Zhou of Staten Island, New York and 48-year-old Chen Hua of El Monte, California.
During the operation, troopers say Zhou attempted to flee on foot from law enforcement and was apprehended. She was additionally charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police. She has since been released from incarceration.
According to troopers, a male customer was also found in a room within the business. That individual was found nude and told investigators he had previously paid for a sexual act at the establishment, authorities say.
Troopers say detectives also found items associated with sexual activity in the customer’s possession. He was arrested and charged.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
