Skate park, tennis courts, shelters and more open in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation continues to open more and more amenities.

According to a release from the City of Bowling Green’s Twitter account, the third phase of re-opening several additional city amenities are now once again open as phase three of the re-opening plan started today.

Phase three includes all tennis courts open, the use of shelters and gazebos, and allows golf carts to carry a total of two passengers.

This re-opening phase still requires groups of less than 10 and park-goers are expected to practice social distancing.

The skate park’s reopening drew a small crowd of people, who were able to enjoy Tuesday’s warm weather together.

The next phase includes youth sports practices. Basketball courts and playgrounds will be the last to re-open.
