Early morning structure fire on Mount Olivet Rd.

UPDATE: The roadway is now re-opened.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Mount Olivet Road is closed right now following an early morning structure fire. Richardville Fire Department’s Chief Brian Lee says units from multiple agencies arrived around 3:15 A.M. this morning concerning a single-story home fully engulfed in flames. Chief Lee says no one was home at the time of the fire and the structure is a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Barren River FD, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County Fire Coordinator, BGFD Engine 8, Med Center EMS and Richardsville Fire Department all responded to the scene.
