Mammoth Cave National Park closed on Friday due to winter weather

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park’s visitor center, cave tours, administrative offices and the Green River Ferry will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10 due to winter storm conditions expected to move through the region.
All secondary roads in the park will close on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 9 ahead of incoming winter weather, park officials say.
The park visitor center and cave tours will operate on a delayed opening schedule on Saturday, Jan. 11 with visitor services resuming at 10:15 a.m. CST. Park road crews will reassess weather conditions on Saturday morning and will update opening times if needed.
