Four Things You Need to Know: Monday, October 14th, 2024

Happy Monday! Before you head out the door, here are four things you need to know.
  •  Meteorologist Darius Mack says we’re seeing a cooler shot of air in the area. Right now, high temperatures are unseasonably cooler so you’ll want to grab an extra jacket.
  • Tonight, former State Representative Patti Minter and incumbent Mayor Todd Alcott will be speaking at a mayoral forum at 5:30 P.M. in the auditorium of Bowling Green Junior High School. This event is free and open to the public.
  • This weekend is the annual Sky Arts Film Fest at the Capitol Theatre. It’s completely free to attend so stop by for a look at local student films and support the arts!
  • Tonight, celebrate an evening of history and mystery with Ruta Sepetys and Steven Sheinkin at the Capitol. The event will feature the authors discussing their book, which is a historical adventure about two siblings trying to solve their mother’s disappearance during World War II. There will also be opportunities to purchase and get books signed by the authors
