UPDATE: Power outage restored at Campbell Lane substation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Power has been restored to the Campbell Lane substation, according to BGMU. The utility company says the cause of the outage Tuesday morning was birds nesting on a pole.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A section of Campbell Lane and multiple other customers in Bowling Green are currently experiencing a power outage.

Scanner traffic has indicated some traffic signals may be out at this time. If traffic signals are out, please treat these intersections as a four-way stop until power is restored.

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities’ outage map currently shows 1,400 members are without power.
