Summer tour series to be offered in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A tour series is set to start this summer in Bowling Green.

According to a release from Unseen Bowling Green and the Bowling Green Trolley Tours & Rentals, both groups are joining together to produce the progressive food tour series, “Taste of BG.”

The tours will start at the Historic Railpark and Train Museum, where guests will board the trolley, which will depart at 2 p.m.

The tour will offer the opportunity for friends and family to spend around two hours as they learn about restaurant owner Sasa Mandrapa’s journey that resulted in various restaurants in Bowling Green.

Guests will try cuisine from Novo Dolce or Burger & Bowl, Pub by Novo, Toro and Speeza.

The cuisine samplings and beverages are included in the tour admission ticket price, according to the release. “Taste of BG” will be a limited series, offered as a seasonal tour.
