Bowling Green Fire Department to host Be The Hero event

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Join firefighters for a day of fun while supporting a great cause.

The Bowling Green Fire Department is hosting “Be the Hero” to benefit WHAS Crusade for Children on Saturday, June 1 at Station 6 located at 201 Cherry Farm Lane in Bowling Green. The event will start at 3 pm and conclude at 6 pm.

The department says the event will feature inflatables, bucket rides, popcorn, an appearance by Spark the Fire Dog, and station tours.

The department’s goal is to raise money for kids in the community. 100% of the donations collected will go directly to local WHAS Crusade for Children efforts.
