Bowling Green police respond to reported shooting at Muse apartments

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police are continuing to investigate a shooting that happened at the Muse apartment complex Tuesday night.
Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward confirmed the incident took place just after 7 p.m. Crime scene investigators still remain at the scene, police say.
Ward says two victims have been transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
According to Ward, no arrests have been made at this time, but police do believe this may have been a targeted shooting. Ward says police are checking over surveillance video and looking for potential witnesses.
Ward says, “At this point in the investigation, it’s too early to tell exactly who our victims are as far as do they attend WKU or are they residents of the muse? We don’t know this information right now, but obviously will, that’ll be part of the investigation, will continue out throughout the evening.”
News 40 will provide further details as they are released.
