Bowling Green police arrest man on assault, strangulation charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man is facing domestic violence-related charges after police say they responded to a Bowling Green residence on Tuesday.
In a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department states it received a call about a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the scene, they say they made contact with a female subject. Police say after being given permission to enter the residence, they made contact with 24-year-old Devron V. Triplet, who was detained.
Police say they learned Triplet allegedly had stated multiple times that he would “kill” the female subject, had dragged the victim across the floor, choked her and threatened to “kick her in the stomach due to her being pregnant.”
According to police, the victim had visible hand prints on her neck and a visible bruise on her leg.
The victim was transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green to be examined.
Triplet remains at the Warren County Detention Center and faces charges of first-degree strangulation, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), minor injury.
