Multiple vehicle break-ins reported in Allen and Warren counties

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Several vehicle break-ins have been reported throughout Allen County and Warren County, police say.
On Friday, Scottsville police stated this includes multiple vehicles that have been stolen.
According to the Scottsville Police Department, agencies from both counties are working to identify those responsible. Police say they are committed to holding the suspect or suspects accountable.
Authorities say this is a reminder to everyone to not leave valuables in vehicles. Items such as purses, handguns and vehicle keys can make a vehicle a target for thieves, police say.
According to authorities, residents should always lock their doors, remove valuables and never leave keys in their vehicles.
Multiple areas throughout both counties have been targeted, police say, with no limit to one neighborhood or community.
Police say to remain aware, report suspicious activity and help prevent additional thefts.
