BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Halloween is right around the corner, but that doesn’t mean the fall fun has to wait.

Below you can find a guide to all things Halloween and autumn-themed in local counties, from festivals to trick-or-treating.

Warren County

  • Downtown BGKY Harvest Fest in downtown Bowling Green on Saturday, Oct. 14. More information here.
  • Trunk or Treat at Preston Miller Park on Oct. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. Proceeds benefit Bowling Green Special Olympics.
  • Boos and Brews on Oct. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Capitol at 416 E Main Ave. in Bowling Green. More information here.
  • Pumpkin Carving Contest at Providence Coffee House and Market Place on Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.
  • Disney Trunk or Treat by Guarantee Pest Control on Oct. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the SOKY Fairgrounds.
  • 3rd annual Hooves and Harvest Festival on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the WKU Ag Expo Center at 406 Elrod Road.
  • Southern Heights Baptist Church Harvest Fest and Trunk or Treat on Oct. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Rockin’ Trick or Treat 2023 on Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bowling Green Ballpark.
  • Plano Baptist Church Trunk or Treat on Oct. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 600 Plano Richpond Road in Bowling Green.
  • BGPD Trunk or Treat at the Bowling Green Police Department on Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Scare on the Square on Oct. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. in downtown Bowling Green. Visitors can go to participating businesses downtown for specials, plus enjoy inflatables and food trucks.
  • First Baptist Church Trunk or Treat on Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 621 E. 12th Ave. in Bowling Green.
  • Heroes Festival Trunk or Treat on Oct. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Med Center Health at 291 High Street in Bowling Green.
  • Trunk or Treat at Broadway UMC on Oct. 29 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 1323 Melrose Campus in Bowling Green.

Allen County 

  • Allen County Public Library Youth Trick ‘O Treat Parade on Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. Trick-or-treaters will leave the library at 10 a.m. and get candy at Allen County businesses on the Scottsville Square.
  • Scottsville PD Dugas Park Trunk of Treat on Oct. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 336 N. Bedelia St. in Scottsville.

Barren County

  • Alliance Counseling Trunk or Treat on Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 104 Reynolds Road in Glasgow.
  • Boo-Thru at Cave Country on Oct. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 502 Mammoth Cave St. in Cave City.
  • Trunk or Treat on Oct. 24 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Highland Ridge Assisted Living at 180 Scottie Drive in Glasgow.
  • Barren County Family YMCA Fall Festival on Oct. 28 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. at 1YMCA Way in Glasgow. There will be costume contests, face painting, pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating and more.
  • Trick or Treat Haunted Hallway at the Glasgow Police Department on Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 101 Pin Oak Lane in Glasgow.

Edmonson County 

  • Halloween on the Square Trick or Treat on Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brownsville Courthouse Square in Edmonson County. Free hot dogs, chips and drinks while supplies last.

Hart County 

  • Trick or Treat on Oct. 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the courthouse on the square in Munfordville.
  • Firetruck or Treat with the Hardyville Fire Department on Oct. 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 111 N Jackson Highway in Hardyville.

Logan County 

  • Halloween Parade in Auburn on Oct. 28 from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. in downtown Auburn. The event will include music, food and wine vendors and a costume contest.
  • Trick or treating on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Russellville Fire Department. The police department and fire department will be handing out candy, popcorn and hotdogs.

Simpson County

  • Trunk or Treat at Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehabilitation on Oct. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 414 Robey St. in Franklin.
