GLASGOW, Ky. – Authorities now say at least two other suspects attempted to fill forged prescriptions in Glasgow.

Officers responded to Express Pharmacy Thursday after authorities say a woman, later identified as Petra McMorris, 35, of Las Vegas, Nevada, tried to fill a fraudulent prescription for promethazine-codeine medication.

McMorris ran from the business after staff questioned about the prescription, police say. She was later arrested after being detained by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say an investigation revealed McMorris, along with at least two other male suspects, traveled to Glasgow and Elizabethtown to fill forged prescriptions.

McMorris remains in the Barren County Detention Center, and police say further charges are expected.

The investigation is ongoing.
