Victim injured in Warren County crash extracted from vehicle, police say

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A woman has been hospitalized following a crash last night in Warren County, police say.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded Thursday night to the 2700 block of Glasgow Road for a single-vehicle injury collision.

Upon arrival, police say fire rescue teams needed to extract the female driver from the vehicle.

Bowling Green Medical Center EMS then removed the female from the scene. She was flown to Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to police, an investigation revealed the vehicle left the road and struck a tree for unknown reasons.

At this time, the driver’s identity and condition have not been released.

The WCSO was assisted by the Bowling Green Fire Department, Smiths Grove Volunteer Fire Department and Bowling Green Medical Center EMS.
