Man wanted on multiple warrants in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. -An Allen County man arrested last month on forgery and stalking charges is now wanted on multiple warrants.

According to the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force, 35-year-old John P. Burton was given the chance to attend rehab while also reporting to the Allen County Detention Center.

However, authorities say Burton did not follow guidelines and now has several active warrants.

The task force says Burton is known to have connections in Allen County and may be seen at the The Mint Gaming Hall in Bowling Green. He may also be in Franklin, Kentucky, according to authorities.

Authorities are also reminding the public that helping an individual evade arrest can lead to criminal charges.
