Veterans resource expo set for Oct. 14 in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) — Kentucky Career Center South Central has announced a job and resource event exclusively for veterans.

The Veteran Stand Down and Resource Expo will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kentucky Career Center, 803 Chestnut St. in Bowling Green.

Veterans will be able to meet with employers who are hiring, learn about current job openings and explore career opportunities.

Participants can also connect with veteran services and other support resources. The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs will be available to assist veterans with benefits and claims.

Veterans are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes.
