Vehicle crashes through Hopkinsville business, authorities say

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash that resulted in significant damage to a building.

According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS (HFE), emergency personnel responded to the collision just before midnight Tuesday.

When personnel arrived, they located a vehicle that left the roadway and crashed into the wall of a business.

Officials say the male driver climbed out of the vehicle through the sunroof before personnel arrived. The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

HFE says the collision caused “significant damage” to the business and officials are concerned about its structural integrity.

The Hopkinsville Police Department is leading the investigation.
