Update: Bowling Green man identified in I-165 fatal accident
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police said one man died Thursday in a single-vehicle accident in Bowling Green.
On Thursday, May 5 around 9:50 a.m., Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call in reference to an injury collision in Warren County. KSP troopers responded to the scene at the two mile marker of I-165 northbound.
KSP said an investigation revealed a 2004 Honda Civic being driven by Matthew Harr, 36, of Bowling Green was traveling northbound on interstate 165 near the two mile marker. Police said Harr’s vehicle left the right shoulder of the road and struck several trees before stopping.
Harr was pronounced dead on the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
KSP was assisted on scene by Woodburn Fire Department and Bowling Green Fire Department.
