Troopers investigating after woman found dead in tent in Edmonson County
CUB RUN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says it is investigating the death of a woman in Edmonson County.
According to a release by the agency, troopers received a call from the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office around noon Saturday about a potential death at the Dog Creek Recreation area
Troopers say they responded to the scene and located an unconscious woman lying in a green tent. She was later identified as 38-year-old Edith Vaughn of Cub Run, according to authorities.
The Hart County coroner responded and pronounced Vaughn dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
