Bowling Green man charged with attempted fetal homicide

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Warren County man is charged with attempted fetal homicide in Barren County.

According to the Kentucky State Police, a Glasgow woman contacted them Monday morning, saying her boyfriend had replaced her prescription medication with an unknown medication.

The woman told police that she was pregnant and was concerned for the safety of her unborn child.

The woman’s boyfriend is 26-year-old Abdulah Mohmand, of Bowling Green.

KSP says an investigation was launched and a search warrant was obtained to search Mohmand’s home.

Investigators say they located medication matching the unknown medication the woman consumed inside Mohmand’s home.

Mohmad was arrested and lodged at the Barren County Detention Center.

He is charged with first-degree attempted fetal homicide.
