Traffic Manager
Job description
The Traffic Manager oversees support and assistance to the traffic assistants during the creation of traffic logs and commercial copy for broadcast television. They must be able to multi-task and work well with others, be very accurate & detail oriented, meet daily deadlines, work under pressure and have excellent customer service skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Check network programming for NBC, CBS & METV and make the changes in Media Star & Wide Orbit.
- Address any discrepancies on the discrepancy report
- Make sure all syndicated programming is airing correctly. Do make goods for programs missed.
- Send updated grids once a week. More if needed.
- Assign commercial copy to advertisers for NBC, CBS & METV
- Responsible for the FCC filing of the Children’s Report.
- Manage the traffic team and make sure their responsibilities are being done.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Station Manger

- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Strong PC skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Efficient in time management
- Requires excellent attention to details & accuracy

- Able to perform well without close supervision

- Able to work under pressure
Working conditions
Office environment. Occasional work at various locations around the viewing area for promotional events.
Physical requirements
Able to lift moderately heavy objects, ex. Boxes of paper
