UPDATE: Authorities arrest inmate who escaped Warren County Jail

UPDATE (5/30/26): According to KSP Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker, escaped inmate Jon B. Moss was located and arrested in the 1300 block of Oliver Street in Bowling Green Saturday morning at approximately 9:52 am.

Moss is charged with second-degree escape from an identity facility.

A second arrest was made during the incident.

Parker says 40-year-old Melissa Richardson was arrested and charged with second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension. She was lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail but has since been released on bond.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An inmate escaped from the Warren County Regional Jail Saturday afternoon.

According to the Kentucky State Police, 32-year-old Jon B. Moss, of Bowling Green, escaped from the jail at approximately 2:57 pm.

Moss is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall, weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

KSP says he was last seen wearing no shirt and blue jeans.

His last known direction of travel was toward downtown Bowling Green.

KSP says Moss may have scrapes on his chest.
