Ohio County Sheriff’s Office investigating several thefts, suspect remains at large

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – A theft suspect remains at large in Ohio County.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, several thefts were reported in the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 62 last week.

Following an investigation, OCSO obtained a search warrant for a nearby residence where a suspect in the thefts was believed to be residing.

During the execution of the search warrant, deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested Nikka Elms, who was present at the home.

OCSO says the suspect in the thefts was not at the home during the investigation.
