No explosive device found amid reported bomb threat at Holiday Inn in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A bomb threat has been reported at a Holiday Inn in Clarksville, Tennessee, authorities say.

The Clarksville Police Department says the alleged threat was reported at the hotel located on Cracker Barrel Drive. Police say an individual messaged an automatic guest messaging system with a threat and that “they had 20 minutes to evacuate the building.”

Authorities say employees saw the message and noted “nothing out of the ordinary at the business.”

According to police, fire rescue and EMS additionally responded to the scene.

At this time, authorities say no explosive device has been located.

The Clarksville Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area until this situation can be cleared. There is no other information available for release at this time.
