Medical Center EMS receives national recognition for emergency care

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Medical Center EMS in Bowling Green has received national recognition for its emergency care services.
The American Heart Association awarded the agency the Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Achievement Award and the Stroke Honor Roll Achievement Award.
The honors are presented to EMS agencies that meet high standards for the rapid assessment, treatment and coordination of care for patients experiencing heart attacks and strokes.
Officials say the recognition reflects the dedication and professionalism of paramedics and first responders who work to provide high-quality emergency care throughout the region.
“Mission: Lifeline says we’re out there, we’re prepared, and we’re using the best evidence-based practices possible,” said Seth Wilson, director of Medical Center EMS. “It shows we’re providing the gold standard of EMS care not only in our region, but across the nation.”
