Logan County juveniles arrested after third burglary at Adairville Market
ADAIRVILLE, Ky. – Three juveniles have been arrested following several burglaries at a Logan County business.
Sheriff Stephen Stratton with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Logan County deputies were dispatched just before 3:30 p.m. Sunday for an alarm at the Adairville Market.
Authorities responded to the location at 135 S. Main St. and say they found a broken front glass door.
According to authorities, deputies had investigated burglary incidents involving three juveniles at the same location on Dec. 22 and Dec. 24.
Stratton says a deputy contacted a parent of the juveniles and learned they had broken into the store again. Police say the items stolen included alcohol and vape pens.
The Logan County deputy then went to the juveniles’ home and placed them under arrest, according to authorities.
The juveniles were taken to the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.
They face charges of third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking between $50 and $100, first-degree criminal mischief and a person 18 or younger in possession of alcohol.
Additionally, they face similar charges in connection with the other two burglaries.
Authorities say all stolen property has been returned to the Adairville Market.
