Hopkinsville man indicted for murder in Bowling Green man’s death

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A Christian County Circuit Court indicted 44-year-old Terrance Christian, of Hopkinsville, for murder last week, after the death of 34-year-old Clifford Barber, of Bowling Green.

According to court documents, the indictment was returned on Friday, Sept. 18.

On Tuesday, July 28th, around 6:16 am, officers at the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to a report of a deceased person in Little River near West Side Park.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim had suffered gunshot wounds to the torso.

Investigators arrested Christian the next day in connection with the death of Barber and charged him with murder.

Christian is scheduled to appear for arraignment on Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.
