Glasgow roadway to close as authorities escort body of killed trooper
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department will close Happy Valley Road to allow for safe passage to escort fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips.
Trooper Phillips was killed in a shooting on I-65 in Warren County Monday morning.
GPD says the roadway will close from the Glasgow Municipal Airport to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
The exact time of the closure has not been announced.
“We ask motorists to please be patient, use caution, and be mindful of the law enforcement officers and others who will be assisting along the route,” says GPD.
