Glasgow man arrested on drug related charges

GLASGOW, Ky. – On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department executed a search warrant on Cedar Street in reference to an investigation.

During the search, officers located Xanax pills, marijuana, fentanyl, handguns and one handgun that had been entered as stolen, according to a release by GPD.

Tavaris M. Casher, 33, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with trafficking in control substance, first offense (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives)(enhancement), trafficking in control substance, third degree, first offense (>or=20 but < or= 120 drug unspecified)(enhancement), trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces), first offense (enhancement), receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

Casher was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
