Delta flights resume following technology issues
A temporary technical glitch within Delta Airlines caused the company to order a nationwide ground stop yesterday as crews worked to fix the problem.
A number of customers say they were unable to log into their Delta account on their computer or phone and others complained that they couldn’t access their flight info.
There was another incident in Los Angeles where some customers reported being stuck on the tarmac.
Delta put out a statement on Twitter around 7:50 p.m. EST saying their it department was working diligently to resolve the issue.
The airline reported just before 9:20 p.m. that the problem had been fixed.
There were no details given as to what caused all of the confusion, but Delta says no flights in the air were impacted by the technical problems.
