Community members react to Bowling Green fire that severely damaged a home
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Community members are reacting to the fire that severely damaged a home in Bowling Green this week.
Warren county fire crews responded to the 900 block of Anise Lane around 2:40 p.m. Monday.
When crews arrived, flames had engulfed the roof of the two-story home. The intense heat also caused damage to neighboring homes.
We spoke with one neighbor, who said watching the fire unfold was something she had never experienced before.
“It was definitely the biggest fire. I mean, I’ve never seen a house fire. That was insane. I’ve watched videos of the firemen extinguishing it, and they were doing a great job, but I’m so glad, I always thought these houses over here are so beautiful. I walk through here three or four times a week, and so I’m just glad to see it didn’t reach other houses,” said a community member.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire has not yet been released.
