BGPD responds to reported bank robbery on Russellville Road
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department says it responded Tuesday to a report of a robbery in progress at PNC Bank on Russellville Road.
WNKY News 40 crews arrived at the scene.
BGPD public information officer Ronnie Ward says the incident occurred at around 11:45 a.m. Police provided images of a male subject, but an identity has not been determined at this time.
Police say the man left the scene on foot.
Ward says, “Right now, we have a very limited description, but we believe that he is somewhere between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches. And he’s a black male. He was covered with a mask and had on a very unique sweatshirt.”
