Gas prices continue to drop in South Central Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Gas prices in South Central Kentucky are down by 11 cents this week according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Bowling Green is $2.20.
Most of the Great Lakes and central states are carrying gas price averages cheaper than one year ago. Kentucky is down 9 cents compared to this time last year.
The national gas price average has dropped 7 cents to land at $2.56.
As U.S. gasoline demand remains low and supply plentiful, motorists may continue to save at the pump in December. However, spikes in the price of crude oil could offset these savings.
