World’s longest underground swinging bridge is complete and open to the public

An update on story WNKY first told you about back in April.

The world’s longest underground swinging bridge is finally complete.

The swinging bridge is finished inside Hidden River Cave located in downtown Horse Cave.

Construction crews worked tirelessly over the past two months to bring in over ten thousand pounds of steel into the cave.

With the bridge being assembled so far back into the cave, most of the steel had to be brought in by hand.

Their hard work finally paid off and the swinging bridge is now officially open to the public.
