Grand jury returns indictments

A Warren County grand jury indicted the following people Wednesday (October 31, 2018).

• Philavery Landson Downey, 52, Warren County Regional Jail, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree criminal trespassing. Bond is $1,000.
• Cornelius Deshon Fugate, 32, Warren County Regional Jail, first-degree assault and first-degree persistent felony offender. Bond is $100,000.
• Carol Gipson, 53, 549 Anna Sandhill Road, theft by deception valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bond is $5,000.
• Brian David Wayne Gross, 34, Warren County Regional Jail, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance first offense, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree felony offender. Bond is $2,500.
• Richard Keith Hyde, 40, 714 Red Clover Street, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Henry Rami James, 19, Warren County Regional Jail, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is $7,500.
• Cody Vaughn Kessler, 19, homeless, receiving stolen property valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants first offense within 10 years, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree criminal mischief. Bond is $1,000.
• Samuel Herrera Lopez, 23, 1152 Kenton Street, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and menacing. Bond was transferred.
• Donald Eugene Nichols, 52, 9567 Bowling Green Road, Morgantown, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bond was transferred.
• Deborah Faye Nichols, 45, 9567 Bowling Green Road, Morgantown, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence. Bond was transferred.
• Amanda Lee Sanchez, 29, 127 Brittany Lane, Glasgow,  two counts of theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000 and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. Bond was transferred.
• Fred Lauren Scotchell, 31, 3560 Shakertown Road, theft by unlawful taking of property valued at $500 or more but less than $10,000 and second-degree persistent felony offender. Notice to appear issued.
• Brandon Kyle Sullivan, 31, Warren County Regional Jail, criminal possession o fa forged instrument and public intoxication. Bond is $2,500.
• Daniel Brennan West, 28, 1200 Salem Circle, first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense. Bond was transferred.
