Barren Community rallying to support children of Trooper Phillips at baseball games

GLASGOW, Ky. – Trooper Hayden Phillips’ children will return to the baseball field tonight, and organizers are asking the community to support them at their baseball games.

The games will be played at Jackie B. Browning Park at Field 2 and Field 6 starting at 7:15 p.m.

“While there are no words that can take away the pain these little guys and his family are experiencing, we can surround them with love and remind them both that they are not walking through this alone,” said Barren County Emergency Management Deputy Director Marcus Thurman.

Thurman is asking the public to fill the sidelines and cheer on Trooper Phillips’ children and honor their father’s legacy.

Jackie B. Browning Park is located at 300 Donnelley Drive in Glasgow.
