Glasgow High School announces Cedric Vaughn to be its new athletic director

GLASGOW, Ky. – On Monday, Glasgow High School announced Cedric Vaughn to be its new athletic director.
According to a release, Mr. Vaughn’s passion for GHS athletics, his coaching connections and work ethic are exactly what GHS was desiring in its next AD.
Mr. Vaughn follows Ms. Bailey Alexander-Garmon, who served in this role for years, overseeing the success and growth of Glasgow athletics.
Glasgow High School says the positive impact Alexander-Garmon made on the school and the number of strong candidates for the position made the hiring process tedious.
Mr. Vaughn will assume the duties of athletic director immediately, while remaining in the classroom as a teacher and as the head coach of track and field.
He will begin working with coaches, the community and alumni to further connect with the school’s future.
